About Department

The Department of Studies in Environmental Science is established in 2006 and launched three certificate courses viz., Solid Waste Management, Environmental Management and Environmental Technology funded by Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver, Canada. The Department launched M.Sc. in Environmental Science programme in 2011. The department industry interface bridges the gap between the expectations and the reality in so far as knowledge and skills. The illustrious academicians with magnificent treasury of knowledge have tailored the programmes in the department. The faculty members who have acquired the skill in respect of contemporary issues have contribute their mite to make the programme highly meaningful in the competitive arena. The Department of Environmental Science comes under the ambit of School of Sciences.
