The University is offering Admission to MA in the following disciplines

• MA – Hindi

• MA- Sanskrit

• MA- Urdu

• MA- Telugu

• MA- History

• MA- Economics

• MA- Political Science

• MA- Sociology

• MA- Public Administration

• MA- Ancient History and Archeology

• MA- Journalism and Mass Communication)

• MA-Education

The Admissions are done at two levels

Level-1:

Candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s Degree of Three years duration without studying Cognate subjects

Those who have passed three years degree program without studying the Cognate subjects are also eligible. Such admitted candidates have to qualify the Master’s Preparatory Program (MPP) examination conducted by the Karnataka State Open University. MPP is not conducted for MA- Journalism and Mass Communication)

Level-2:

Candidates who have passed three years Degree Examination (with the cognate subject) of any recognized University or an examination of any University considered equivalent thereto.
