- The student should have passed Class XII in the Science stream from any recognized board.
- II PUC Science (PCMB / PCME / PCMC/ CBZH / PCBH) passed from Karnataka State Pre University Board.
- XII passed in Science combinations from CBSE/ ICSE/ HSC Boards.
- II PUC/ +2/ 12th standard passed in science stream from other State recognized boards.
- Diploma in Health Inspector Offered by Government of Karnataka or other State Governments.
- Any other examinations in science stream considered as equivalent there to.
